Health Information Network, a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, was founded in 1981 to provide educational resources about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV/AIDS. Our agency serves organizations, government agencies, corporations and individuals wanting information about STDs and HIV/AIDS. Since 1981, we have organized 2,000 programs, courses, conferences and exhibits.
In 1994, we were nationally recognized by the Federal Health Care Financing Administration and received the Administrator’s Citation in Excellence for our work providing accurate HIV/AIDS education.
As of mid-August 2015, the Health Information Network is now operated by the Kelley-Ross Foundation, a Washington State 501(c)(3).
Our primary goals are:
- To provide accurate information; increase awareness and understanding of Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV/AIDS through prevention and intervention education.
- To provide the Washington State Department of Health & Licensing HIV/AIDS course for health care provider licensees.
